Earl Ernest Morin (1939-2010)

DALLAS PLANTATION – Earl Ernest Morin, 71, of 91 Orris Lamb Road, Dallas Plantation, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at his home.

He was born in Jackman on May 4, 1939, a son of Ernest J. and Marguerite M. (Boivin) Morin and received his education in Jackman schools. Mr. Morin worked as a scaler for Timber Resources Group in Berlin, N.H. for many years, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Kemankeag Masonic Lodge of Rangeley and Kora Temple Shrine. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great granddaughter.

He is survived by a son, Lee and his wife, Melinda of Rangeley; a daughter, Kim of Texas; two brothers, Richard of Tennessee and Kailen of Farmington; a sister Betty of Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas of Westbrook and Blayke of Rangeley; a great granddaughter, Alivia of Westbrook; and his former wife, Cheryl of Lisbon Falls.

There will be no services but the family asks that those who desire make memorial contributions in Earl’s memory to Kemankeag Masonic Lodge 213 Charity Fund, PO Box 905, Rangeley, ME 04970.
