DANVERS, Mass. – Gloria D. Niles, 88, of Danvers, Mass., died Monday evening, Nov. 15, 2010 at her home in Danvers, Mass..

She was born on Mar. 15, 1922, in Greenville, the daughter of Joseph and Lottie (Pickett) Doucette. On Aug. 22, 1942, she married, Frank Niles in Greenville upon his return from WWII.

Gloria traveled with her husband throughout New England and the U.S. as he worked construction. They settled in Danvers, Mass. and have been residing there for over the past 30 years.

She enjoyed sewing, reading and the company of neighborhood children.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 68 years, Frank Niles of Danvers, Mass; two sisters, Connie Gagnon of Scarborough and Virginia Loring of FL; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Myrtle Graham and Olive Gagner.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 20 at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service & Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Farmington.
