RUMFORD – Margaret Eaton Partridge, 87, of Concord Apartments, Rumford, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Rumford Community Hospital.

She was born In Searsport, Aug. 18, 1922, the eldest child of James and Minnie Coffin Eaton. On Sept. 21, 1940, she married Charles L. Partridge of Wilton.
Margaret loved cryptograms and for many years played in several Bridge clubs and catered parties while living in Ridgewood, NJ.
She is survived by a brother, Cony Eaton and his wife, Beverly of GA; three sisters, Minnie Seigle, Beverly Richards, and Roxalynn Powers and her husband Harry; daughter-in-law, Georgianne Partridge of Goshen, NY; grandsons, James Partridge, Jr. of OK and Bill Partridge of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews; She was predeceased by her husband; a sister, Shirley Sawtelle; and a brother, James M. Eaton, Jr.
Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton.
