Muriel B. Winnick (1920-2010)

KINGFIELD – Muriel B. Winnick, 89, of Kingfield passed away at her home on April 29, 2010.

Muriel was born in New York City on Dec 24, 1920 to Louis and Annie Benjamin. She was educated in the New York City school system and continued her education in fashion design for several years before marrying her childhood sweetheart, Robert L. Winnick.

Muriel lived most of her married life in Middletown, RI where she raised her two children with much love and laughter. When her husband passed in 1985 she moved to Florida and spent many happy years with her sister, Lillian. In 2001 Muriel moved to Kingfield to be with her son, Richard and daughter, Diane in Kingfield.

Muriel will always be remembered as a loving wife, incredible mother and the best “Mama” to her granddaughter, Beth and her husband, Sean (the leprechaun) Kiely.

Muriel is survived by her son, Richard, daughter-in-law Carolyn; daughter Diane, granddaughter Beth and her husband Sean of Dover, N.H. She was predeceased by her sister Lillian.

At Muriel’s request, there will be no formal funeral. Those wishing to, may make a donations in Muriel’s memory to Operation Baghdad Pups (SPCA International) or to the charity of one’s choice.
