NEW VINEYARD – Pat Scucci, 64, of New Vineyard died Friday, July 1, 2011 at her home.
She was born March 15, 1947 in Newark, N.J., the daughter of John and Margaret (McGlone) Schroth. Patty had resided in New Vineyard since 1974. She worked for early childhood education programs in the Farmington and Augusta areas for many years. In 1982 Patty established the local Fresh Air Fund Program; a New York City-based organization that matches inner city children with rural host families for summer vacations. Throughout her life she was an avid gardener.
Patty was a loving mother and grandmother to daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Leo, and grandchildren Maya and Ben. She is also survived by her brother John Schroth and his children Laura and Christopher. She was predeceased by her sister Cindy.
Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 4-5 p.m. at Adams~McFarlane Funeral & Cremation Services, 108 Court St., Farmington.
