Thomas Stanley Yezil (1947 – 2010)

FARMINGTON – Thomas Stanley Yezil, 63, of Rangeley Plt., passed away peacefully, with his loving wife and best friend, Margaret, by his side late Sunday evening, Sept. 26, 2010, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington.

He was born Sept. 5, 1947, in Astoria, New York, a son of Stanley and Ruth G. (Roy) Yezil. He received his education in Queens, New York and for many years was employed as a carpenter, working for a Carpenters Union in Manhattan. On June 25, 1977, he married his best friend, and childhood friend, Margaret Kripl. They relocated to Maine where he was a self-employed carpenter for nearly 30 years.

He was a member of the National Guard and will be remembered as a very private, quiet man who enjoyed working in his yard and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret, of Rangeley Plt., and their three dogs: Bustah, Chance, and “Mr. P” (PeeWee). He was predeceased by his folks and a brother, Scott Yezil.

Private interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Rangeley. Friends and neighbors wishing to express their sympathy are asked to perform an act of kindness to someone in need of their help.
