2 mins read

To the voters of Franklin County:

I am writing this letter of support for Mary Frank as the best candidate for Franklin County treasurer. I have served on several committees with Mary, seen her professional work as a speech pathologist, and viewed her involvement with many community events. I strongly believe that Mary will serve us well in the role of Franklin County treasurer.

Mary is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, with a major in German Literature and later graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a masters in Communication Disorders. She has worked in a variety of fields including employment with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Soil and Water Conservation District. Following her graduation from college, she worked as an Intelligence Analyst for the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration in Washington, D.C. She went on to be a co-owner in Cedar Ridge Farm, in Virginia and was the administrative and financial lead for this large market lamb and sheep products farm. Locally, Mary worked in the role of speech pathologist for MSAD 9 until 2007.

Mary Frank is very active with volunteer organizations and is part of the Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association, Inc. and United Way of the Tri-Valley Area. She is a member of the Emergency Management Citizens Emergency Response Team that provides disaster emergency response to Franklin County. She is also active with the Farmington Warming Centers, the Ski Museum of Maine, the 2010 Lions Club Speak Out Competition, and 4-H. Mary continues to seek opportunities to support many organizations within the county and state.

I plan to support Mary in her bid for county treasurer and would encourage all those who want a candidate who is active with our community and committed to doing a great job, to join me in this support. Please vote for Mary Frank for Franklin County Treasurer as a Republican candidate in the Primary on June 8th.

Sincerely,

Susan A. Pratt
Strong
