Alpine ski racing at Saddleback returns

RANGELEY – The Saddleback Alpine Training Center is bringing back the tradition of alpine ski racing at Saddleback in Rangeley. Jeff Hawksley and Martin Wilson are the coaches. Pictured here during Christmas Vacation week is Coach Jeff Hawksley (center) with some of his JIII racers: from left, Robert Patenaude of Augusta who is an 8th grader at St. Michael’s School in Lewiston; Erin Buckland of Farmington who is a 7th grader at Mt. Blue Middle School; Coach Hawksley; Max Semba of Portland who is a 7th grader at King Middle School; and Chapin Dorsett of Yarmouth, who is an 8th grader of Yarmouth Middle School.

JANUARY 18 MARA J3/4 GIANT SLALOM QUALIFIER
JANUARY 31 MARA J3/4/5 GIANT SLALOM

Saddleback Alpine Training Center needs volunteers for all of these events for: Registration staff, Course Crew, Gate Judges, Starters, Timers, Start and Finish referees and Course crossing and access control staff.
