Pink Ladies & Pink Men Golf Classic to be held at Turner Highlands

FARMINGTON – The first annual Pink Ladies & Pink Men Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, Aug. 27 at the Turner Highlands Country Club in Turner. The tournament will benefit the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, which provides digital mammogrraphy and breast health services to people throughout Greater Franklin County.

The tournament highlights include a par 3 Casino hole and the Beck 50/50 challenge hole, a barbecue dinner, silent auction, and awards ceremony.

Rebecca Ryder, Franklin Community Health Network president/CEO will be on hand to greet the players, along with Tim Madden, the tournament co-chair. Madden said, “The greens are in immaculate shape and this promises to be a great tournament.”

The registration fee is $100 per player or $400 per team and includes greens fees, carts, dinner, and the awards ceremony.

The Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center provides women with timely access to state-of-the-art breast cancer screening, diagnostic, clinical, and care-support services. The Center is located in the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center in Farmington and at FMH Outpatient Services in Livermore Falls. It memorializes a Carrabassett Valley resident who died from breast cancer.
