Rep. Thomas Saviello (U-Wilton), at left, and Rep. Lance Harvell (R-Farmington) at right, present Franklin Savings Bank President Peter Judkins with a Legislative Sentiment, congratulating the bank on its 10th consecutive year as The Strongest Bank in Maine, according to rankings released recently by TheStreet.com, the nation’s leading independent provider of ratings and analyses of financial services companies, mutual funds and stocks. The Sentiment notes that Franklin Savings Bank is Franklin County’s only locally-owned bank and continues to be the only “A” rated bank in Maine and one of only two banks in all of New England to receive an “A” rating and receive top ratings from other organizations that evaluate financial institutions. The Legislative Sentiment was sponsored by Saviello, Harvell and Sen. Walter Gooley, (R-Farmington) who was unable to attend the presentation.

  1. Congratulations to Franklin Savings Bank. Locally owned and a symbol of changing times for successful businesses in Franklin County. Let their success be a symbol that small businesses can flourish in Maine. Also, special thanks to Tom Saviello, Lance Harvell, and Walter Gooley for recognizing excellence especially in difficult times for many Mainers.
