WILTON – The Wilton Blueberry Farm is open for the season.
According to owners Irving Faunce and Jan Collins, this is an early beginning to the season that normally begins around the first of August.
“The weather has included a good mix of sun and rain, so the berries are ready for picking,” they said, adding that the season may end earlier than usual as well.
The Wilton Blueberry Farm is located at 83 McLaughlin Road and is open seven days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from noon – 7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8 a. m. – 4 p. m.
