City Lights North Summer Performing Arts Camp

Old State Theatre City Lights North 231 Broadway, Farmington

Free daily intensive performing arts camp for youth to 17 years old: dance, music, fencing. Taught by visiting Boston artists Duggan Hill, Russell Ferguson, Braun Dapper, Hershey Bliss, Zakyia Watkins, and Shae. Culminates in a public performance. COVID rules for youth programs fully enforced.

United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer our 5th annual COLOR ME UNITED 5K Run/Walk this year! The event will be August 28th, 2021. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. Music at the Gazebo

The Farmington Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park will be the site of four summer concerts by area youth. Sponsored by ArtsFarmington, these mini concerts will be every Wednesday in July starting at 7pm. There will be no admission charge but donations will be welcomed Here is the schedule: July 7- Abrahm and Samuel Geissinger (trumpet and French horn); July 14- Scott Barber (guitar and kazoo); July 21 – Rachel Spear (guitar and vocals); and July 28 - Hope Chernesky (fiddle, guitar and vocals)

Strong library’s Tails and Tales Reading Program is accepting sign ups now

It's not too late to sign up for this summer's Tails and Tales Reading Program with the Forster Memorial Library in Strong. We are accepting sign-ups until the middle of July and the program runs until Aug. 21. Prizes include Giffords, gift certificates to local bookstores, Subway, and the chance to win one of two bikes!
