City Lights North Summer Performing Arts Camp

Old State Theatre City Lights North 231 Broadway, Farmington

Free daily intensive performing arts camp for youth to 17 years old: dance, music, fencing. Taught by visiting Boston artists Duggan Hill, Russell Ferguson, Braun Dapper, Hershey Bliss, Zakyia Watkins, and Shae. Culminates in a public performance. COVID rules for youth programs fully enforced.

Strong library’s Tails and Tales Reading Program is accepting sign ups now

It's not too late to sign up for this summer's Tails and Tales Reading Program with the Forster Memorial Library in Strong. We are accepting sign-ups until the middle of July and the program runs until Aug. 21. Prizes include Giffords, gift certificates to local bookstores, Subway, and the chance to win one of two bikes! Take-out hot dog and baked bean or macaroni and cheese dinner

WILTON — The First Congregational Church UCC on Main Street will hold a take-out hot dog and baked bean or macaroni and cheese dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 9. Cole slaw, corn bread and cookies are included but not beverages. The meal is by donation to support mission work and church operations. Meals must be ordered by calling 645-2535 or 645-2568 by Tuesday, July 6.
