20th Annual Summer Performing Arts Camp 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily (including weekends) July 1-16 July 1 is registration: come between 8 and 12 to register and work a bit. Performance on the 16th. This program is free; it is a demanding pre-professional program in dance, singing, acting, fencing, and art. Ages 6-17. The Wayne Community Church auction is back this summer, offered both online and as an in-house silent auction! The online auction begins on Friday, JULY 1st and runs through Saturday, JULY 9th. Gold Leaf Senior College at UMF , art exhibit. The exhibit features 29 local artists/Goldleaf members working in acrylics,oils, photography, wood, glass and more. The exhibit will be at the Emery Art Center on the UMF campus. The opening reception will be on June 17th from 5-7PM. and will continue thru July 29th.
Enjoy a 3-day fly fishing experience led by our own Dr. Bill Richards, a Master Registered Maine Guide! Day 1: Introduction to the “Art of Fly Fishing” - A little history of the Rangeley Region. An overview of fly fishing equipment and its application. Demonstration of the “overhead cast” and proper body position, fly rod grip, and mechanics and begin to practice your skills with Coach Bill. The Western Maine Foothills Band will be performing in Farmington's Meeting House Park every Monday starting June 6, 2022 and ending Aug. 29, 2022 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM.
