The Franklin County Democratic Committee will host Governor Janet Mills and Assistant House Majority Leader Kristen Cloutier (D-Lewiston) at their 48th pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 18th, from 8am to 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall, Rt. 133 in Jay. The public is invited and welcome to attend. Cost is $10 for adults; kids under 12 are free. Pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and juice will be served. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, donations are welcome. This is a family-friendly event. Tickets available online or at the door.
Community Lunch is back! We are holding the lunches on the THIRD SATURDAY of every month. We will be offering eat-in, delivery and takeout meals. You can call the church the week before the meal (778-0424) and place an order to be delivered, or you can come to the church and either sit down and eat with others or take a meal out with you. On Saturday, MARCH 18, 2023, there will be a Public Pickup /Takeout Supper at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine , from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. The menu will be Corned Beef, Boiled Potatoes, Carrots, Cabbage, Dinner Roll, and Homemade Dessert. The price will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12.
