This year, you can order a fresh spring bouquet (large) for $25 or a small fresh spring bouquet with a 1/2 dozen macarons for $25. As in past years, you can also order a bouquet to donate to a local nursing home and we'll get them delivered by area youth. Orders accepted until May 5th. They were awarded an AARP grant to present scenarios & discussions about challenges Maine's elder citizens encounter as they live & age in their communities. Each scenario will be followed by a discussion between the audience and the characters, in order to come up with possible solutions to issues presented. Sponsored by the Mt. The presentation, which is free to the public, will be given by retired Professor of Biology, Herb Wilson. Dr. Wilson’s talk will center around the findings presented in the Butterflies of Maine and Maritime Provinces, to be published this fall by the Cornell University Press. This publication is based on a citizen-science project (the Maine Butterfly Survey or MBS) with field work conducted between 2003 and 2019. Many members
