Local Legends of Fly Fishing Hall of Fame – White Nose Pete Fly Fishing Festival

The White Nose Pete Fly Fishing Festival begins Friday June 16th, with a reception at the Rangeley Inn & Tavern at 6:00 PM. There will also be a live auction of top-of-the-line fly-fishing rods. The auction proceeds will benefit The Chamber of Commerce as well as a Non-Profit committed to helping others. The Show Saturday June 17th 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at The Rangeley Inn, will include arts, books, gear, tying & casting lessons, the chance to try gear from top manufacturers, conservation groups, raffles and much more! Fly Rod Crosby Trail Workday in Madrid

It’s time to get the Fly Rod Crosby Trail ready for summer hiking!  Spend a day in the backcountry, with beautiful views of Maine’s High Peaks including Saddleback and Mt Abram and with wild-life sightings while helping maintain an all-volunteer heritage trail in Madrid Township. Trail work for beginners-advanced. We will be trimming vegetation, removing sticks and blowdowns, and some trail repair/rerouting.  Please bring your own water, bug dope, sunblock, raingear, boots, lunch or snack, wading shoes and favorite trail tools. We also have loppers, clippers, gloves, safety glasses and helmets to borrow.

Visit Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum at 22 Church Street in Livermore Falls to learn more about the wood products industry in Maine and exhibits showcasing local history. Tours are free, but donations are encouraged and appreciated. All donations go toward matching a $25,000 grant received to repair the museum foundation. Wonderfest 2023

Wonderfest 2023 is coming up on Saturday, June 17th from 4pm until 11 pm in Phillips. Join us in the backyard of 43 Main Street, Morning Bridge Center for three bands, a late-night jamming session, and delicious food. Both Barbeque and Vegan fare will be served. Donations that are collected go to support Wonderland Children’s Festival that takes place as a part of Phillips Old Home Days. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine , from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.  The menu will be Pork Loin, Potatoes, Vegetable, Dinner Roll, and Homemade PIES for Dessert.  The price will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12.  ALL PUBLIC SUPPERS WILL BE SIT DOWN IN THE HARNDEN HALL DINING AREA.
