AARP Improv Theater
mount vernon community center 2 main st, Mount vernon, METhe Marti Stevens Interactive Improvisational Theater group will be at the Mt. Vernon Community Center. They were awarded an AARP grant to present scenarios & discussions about challenges Maine's elder citizens encounter as they live & age in their communities. Each scenario will be followed by a discussion between the audience and the characters, in order to come up with possible solutions to issues presented. Sponsored by the Mt. Vernon Aging in Place Committee and the Dr. Shaw Memorial Library.

Vienna Historical Society Annual Plays Set for July 20 – 22 Finally re-opening after the pandemic, the Vienna Historical Society will present their annual humorous plays which vividly portray the foibles and eccentricities of small town life. The performances will take place in Vienna Union Hall at 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, July 20 and 21; and at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Saturday, July 22. “A Restful Afternoon,” takes place on a Vienna farm where Jasper wants nothing more than to have a relaxing afternoon, but life explodes around him with neighbors, relatives and rather strange guests
