Franklin County has a rich tradition of talented musicians drawing from many styles of music from Country, Folk, Americana, Celtic to Contemporary.  St. Joseph’s Parish is hosting, together with endorsement from community partners, a monthly open mic night usually on the last Thursday of every month. We wish to provide a venue that continues to celebrate and foster the musical talent within Franklin County. Professionals and newcomers are all welcome to listen, perform and collaborate. Roderick-Crosby American Legion Post 28 is hosting a Christmas dance on Saturday, December 10th from 7 - 11 pm. Ticket price is $10.00 per person and admission is 21+ years of age. Music will be provided by DJ Dreamin' Big. There will be an ugly sweater contest. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Legion Hall on 158 High Street in Farmington on the following Fridays from 5-7pm: November 11th, November 18th, and December 2nd. Caroling, Cocoa and Games

Come join Farmington Baptist Church (194 Whittier Road) folks for an afternoon of fun!  Join them as they go out into the community to share Christmas joy with song or choose to stay and sing carols & play board games inside their comfortable facility.  Groups will be singing traditional Christmas carols at many of the local nursing homes in addition to other destinations & then returning to the church for cocoa & cookies.
