Sun Porch Soirée

A Summer evening at Farmington's Historic Octagon House.  Hors d'oeuvres, sweets, punch, music as well as a silent auction and door prize. All ticket sales go toward restoration of the unique octagonal sun porch, built in 1915,  and are matched by a grant from Maine Preservation.

ArtsFarmington is pleased to present a Benefit Concert by the newly formed Buttonwood Trio playing works by Fauré and Babajanian.  Admission is by donation, with all proceeds going to Ukrainian humanitarian relief. The concert will be August 7 at 3:00 pm in the Emery Community Arts Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. This will be the debut concert for the Buttonwood Trio. It consists of three old friends and former Maine college music professors who joined together in retirement to launch this new ensemble. Vera Johnson invites you to a series of events to make bowls to hold warm soup in the coming winter. These workshops will be held at the Belle Creative Arts Center where she will teach you how to make pinch pots, one of the oldest and simplest forms of ceramics.   The pottery you make will be donated and sold at the Fall Harvest Soup fundraising event at Salt & Pepper and Sugar Too in Wilton in late October. This community effort is part of Empty Bowls, a grassroots movement by local artists and craftspeople in cities and towns around

Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine , from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.  The menu will be Home Cooked Pulled Pork, with Burger Bun, Cole Slaw, Individual Bag of Potato Chips, and Homemade Brownie for dessert.  The price will be $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for those under 12.  Home deliveries are available in the Wilton and Farmington area for $10.00 per meal.
