ZoomThe CEI Women’s Business Center and the Portland SCORE Chapter are collaborating to host FocusME, a series of peer groups for female entrepreneurs. FocusME is a series of facilitated peer groups that provide a supportive network of other female business owners; a place to work on personal and professional growth, a sense of accountability, and an opportunity to learn from your peers’ experiences and expertise. This winter we are offering four virtual cohorts. Please note that in order to ensure that both groups are filled with businesses that are non-competitive and in similar stages of growth the WBC will make

Dr. Shaw Memorial Library, Mt. Vernon 344 Pond Rd., Mt. VernonStarting March 23, each Wednesday at 10AM-12PM at the Dr. Shaw Memorial Library in Mt. Vernon, we will host a consultant from the Career Center, to help people learn about how to write cover letters and resumes, as well as do effective job searches. Propeller I Spring 2022
ZoomTech for everyone should be made by everyone. Female entrepreneurs continue to face unique challenges in starting and growing businesses and these challenges are amplified in the technology sector. That’s why we created Propeller. Our goal is to help creative, problem-solving women to develop tech-based businesses and form a network that supports the participation of women in technology. Join us for a hands-on, online 4-week startup program, where participants will receive guidance on their ideas as well as support from the program facilitators.
