Tyngtown Club Annual Plant Sale
Wilton Congregational Church Main Street, Wilton, United StatesJoin the ladies of Wilton’s Tyngtown Club for our annual plant sale! A wide variety of locally-dug perennials, "proven winner" annuals, and veggie + herb seedlings will be available at reasonable prices. All proceeds contribute to the Tyngtown Club’s fundraising efforts on behalf of many valued local programs, including the Wilton Free Public Library, the Western Maine Play Museum, Fit Girls of Wilton, the local scholarship committee, and the beautiful flowers planted seasonally along Main Street in Wilton's downtown.

For immediate release: NEW PORTLAND COMMUNITY LIBRARY’S CHINESE AUCTION NEW PORTLAND – The generous folks at Happy Horseshoe Campground are once again hosting the Library’s annual Chinese Auction on May 28th from 10am – 11am at 1100 Long Falls Dam Road. There will be a variety of great items to take a chance on like a $100 gift card to Hammond Lumber Company, gift baskets valued at $250 from Foothills Chiropractor, gift certificates to Anni’s Market, Our Village Market and more. There will also be gently used items that have been donated. Tickets may be purchased starting at 10:00am and winners
Parish Thrift Shop opening
The Parish Thrift Shop at Bartlett Memorial United Methodist Church at North Jay is opening Saturday, June 4th, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will be opened each Sat. for the summer. A variety of clothing, shoes, baby things, books, household items, sewing things, arts & crafts items are available. Some items are priced but you can fill a bag for $2. Mask required inside.
July 3rd in the Park
On Sunday July 3rd, the park will come to life with activities, food and entertainment for all ages, all provided by our area nonprofit organizations. This will be a true family day packed with fun. Festivities begin at 10:00 AM with the Children’s Doll Carriage Parade on Main Street and the Duck Race on Haley Pond, and go out with a bang as the fireworks get underway at dusk. Visitors will enjoy food, live entertainment, games, demonstrations and more - including Rangeley's Great American Dog Parade - all in the splendor of the picturesque lakeside park.
