An overview of fly fishing equipment and its application. Demonstration of the “overhead cast” and proper body position, fly rod grip, and mechanics and begin to practice your skills with Coach Bill. Afternoon Common Loon Paddles on Saddleback Lake Wednesday afternoons into early evenings 3:30-5:30 PM Take a guided kayak trip with NICK LEADLEY to observe loons of the Rangeley Lakes Region. Nick is a specialized bird photographer and loon enthusiast. He has been photographing common loons and native wildlife for 20 years plus. He prides himself in sharing the splendors of the Rangeley Region, including its native inhabitants and fauna. Guests must arrive 20 minutes prior to their scheduled activity time. Open to ages 9+. Full Moon Paddle Trips A moonlit tour of Saddleback Lake Sitting at the bottom of Saddleback Mountain is a remote body of water called Saddleback Lake. Come take a paddle on the lake at night and see endless views of the mountain lit up by the beautiful full moon. Listen to the sounds of common loons echoing calls in the distance. This trip will be offered three more times this summer: July 13, August 11, and September 10.
