Week-long Book Sale
Dr. Shaw Memorial Library, Mt. Vernon 344 Pond Rd., Mt. VernonThe Doctor Shaw Memorial Library in Mt. Vernon will be hosting a week-long booksale during our usual open hours throughout the week of July 11, here at the library, in the Clayton Dolloff room in the second floor of the older part of the building. Please come browse & buy during the hours of: Monday (July 11) from 3-6pm, Wednesday (July 13) from 9AM-Noon and 3-7PM, and Saturday (July 16) from 10AM-3PM. Donations will be $1.00/bag of books – quite a deal! Come in and stock up on reading material! We’ll be happy to see you!
Daily Vacation Bible School
Calvary Hill Baptist Church 195 US Rt 2E, Wilton, MEChildren of all ages are welcome to attend Daily Vacation Bible School July 11 - 15 each evening from 6:00 - 7:30. There will be a Bible lesson each evening along with songs, crafts, games and refreshments Monday through Thursday. Then on Friday evening, parents and family members are welcome to come to the closing program when the children will share what they have learned. This will be followed by an ice cream social. Calvary Hill Baptist Church 195 US Rt 2E, Wilton, MEChildren of all ages are welcome to attend Vacation Bible School each evening July 11-15 from 6:00 to 7:30pm at Calvary Hill Baptist Church 195 US Rt 2E, in Wilton. There will be Bible lessons, songs, games Crafts, and refreshments each night Monday through Thursday. On Friday evening, July 15th, family and friends are invited to a closing program at the church where the children will share what they have learned all week. An ice cream social will follow the closing program.
