Three Gems from the Silent Movie Era

Online Classic Movies with old time piano. ArtsFarmington will be presenting an online series called “Three Gems from the Silent Movie Era” accompanied by Doug Protsik on old-time piano. Screening of “Defenders of Justice”

On Wednesday, November 4, at 4:30pm over ZOOM, UMF's Women's and Gender Studies is holding a screening of "Defenders of Justice," a film about "the women behind the vibrant and intersectional feminist movement some are calling the “Feminist Spring” in Brazil. Sexual and reproductive health and rights are severely limited, and there are deep racial prejudices against Black Brazilians. Civil society is also under threat, and activists in Brazil remain on high alert after the murder of prominent Black Brazilian activist Marielle Franco in March 2018." University of Maine Cooperative Extension and SCORE Maine will offer a four-session online accounting workshop for small farms and agricultural businesses using QuickBooks. “QuickBooks for Farms” includes basic principles of accounting; tracking sales, invoicing, payments and expenses; and reporting functions. Access to a desktop personal computer or laptop capable of running the software, made available to participants for the duration of the workshop, is required. 7th Annual Winterpaloozah!

Enjoy a day of playing on the frozen pond and in the snow.  Horse & wagon rides, Cardboard Sled Race, ice skating, saucer bowling, pond hockey, curling, snow golf, fat tire bikes, kicksleds, snow kiting, XC skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, snow castle, campfire & marshmallow roast, hot chocolate and more fun and games for the family.  Free. Winter Carnival Day

Kingfield Festival Days presents Winter Carnival at Kingfield Sno-Wanderers Gateway Little Baker Hill! All day events including snow sculpture contest, bonfire, cross country ski race, downhill kayak race, a snowball throwing contest and a snowshoe obstacle course! Masks are required to attend.

Public Masonic supper

On Saturday, February 20, 2021, the Masonic Group at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Building, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, Maine, will be offering a Public Takeout - Pickup Supper, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm,. The menu will consist of Roast Pork, Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Rolls and Apple Squares for Dessert.
