JAY – The second annual Beans Corner Lights House is giving nightly Christmas light shows until New Year’s Day.

Brian Daigle, the home owner of the Beans Corner Lights House, has always decorated his house with Christmas lights, but found that synchronizing it to music adds to the Christmas spirit. A video of the project can be seen here.

“It slows down the traffic in front of our home, so I think there’s a lot of interest,” Daigle said.

Drivers can pull into the Beans Corner Baptist Church parking lot and watch the whole show from their cars. The Christmas lights are automatically synchronized to whatever is on 88.7 FM.

  1. It’s actually synchronized to 22 different songs that are broadcast over 88.7 FM from our home!

  2. We live just up the road in North Jay so we drive by often. Thank you for sharing your Christmas spirit with us! I stopped on Sunday with my kids to watch. It was fantastic! So fun! We’ll definitely be back often!!! :-)

  3. I’m so excited to bring the kids out to watch! Thank you to Mr Daigle for the opportunity and a thank you Daily Bulldog for sharing! :)

  4. The Daigles have done an amazing job and we are so thankful for them as neighbors. My kids can’t get enough of their lights and music. Thanks for putting so much work into serving our area!

  5. our family members from Utah who are coming for the holidays have requested that we make SURE we visit again! THANK YOU!

  6. The Wilton lights are not doing the light display this year either according to their website. Their is one downside to the Beans Corner light display. It is the fact that there is nowhere to park and watch the lights. You can only drive by and see them for a few seconds. Due to the busyness of Rt.133 and no shoulder, only ditches on the sides of the road and no open parking areas means no place to park and watch the full light performance. At least the Wilton lights has the empty Backus garage lot across the street to park and watch them from.

  7. I stopped and watched it last night! It is a wonderful light show! If you get the opportunity, you should make your way to watch it! I hope my grandchildren get to see it next weekend! Thank you Daigle family for sharing!

  8. Happy camper maine pull into the church parking lot tons of room we did the other night. No one said anything that it was a bother.

  9. To happycampermaine, we are truly sorry you did not enjoy the lights. Maybe it would have been better for you if you had turned down 156 and pulled into the large, wide open parking lot of the Beans Corner Baptist Church. This is our intent, we have the blessing of the Church, and this is what was the recommendation in the article. Thank you to everyone for coming out to enjoy it! This is only our 2nd year, so there is room for improvement in the future, if anybody should have any other concerns or recommendations that may make the future shows better (or even brighter!)
