FARMINGTON – Old and broken electronics or “e-waste” will be collected for recycling on Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Farmington’s Aubuchon Hardware parking lot located on the Wilton Road, Route 2 & 4. Anyone and everyone within driving distance of Farmington will have an opportunity to bring in old or broken electronics for free for individuals. eWaste Recycling Solutions, LLC(ERS) of Auburn will bring a team to pack and transport TVs, computers, monitors and other electronic devices left for responsible recycling. Free will monetary donations will be accepted to support Old South Church’s community service, outreach and youth programs. This was an amazing event. Thank you for offering this service to the public. It was nice to be able to clean out the closets and know that these electronics were being disposed of properly.
