Dave Gould – I think the unusual visitor at your window feeder is an “Eastern Towhee”. An excellent bird for this area. Lucky you! The bird is not only beautiful, but has a lovely song too.

Tom, How do you find all these different fantastic Warblers? Love the markings on the Canada Warbler!
Jane K,
I walk in the woods almost every day and I’ve learned most of the warbler songs over many years. This time of year there are many warblers around. I don’t see the rarer warblers very often and some I have never been lucky enough to photograph but I can usually get pictures of the more common species every spring. Thanks for the welcome back last week and the complements of my photos.
As usual,an outstanding array of beauty; but this time I think everyone outdid themselves!!
spectacular photos….So glad to see Thomas Oliver back…. very special photographer .
Love this series! Spring, spring, spring!
Don Waterhouse. Love your rocks! Like a painting!
