  1. Indeed, a gorgeous view from Wilton looking toward Saddleback and Bald Mountains. Take many pictures, as that view is about to change quite dramatically.

  2. Absolutely magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had gone down to see it in person.

  3. These views in the evenings are what we wait for daily on the water’s edge here in Maine. Having lived on Clearwater Lake all these years, I guess I thought that kind of OMG stuff belonged only to us…………… Those gorgeous evenings go to prove we, who are lucky enough to summer in Maine, already live in ‘heaven’…………….! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Glad to see some nice pics on the Bulldog!! This is the true “Earth First !! ” They do a good job covering all.

  5. Dale, I could not agree more. And wait until the enormous wind project is up on Saddleback Mountain (that’s the middle one next to Bald for those of you who don’t know). I know, I know, 400 foot turbines on the top of untouched mountains are majestic. We all have to keep our GREEN in check and could never say that this gorgeous (and historic) view captured by a talented photographer would not be improved by industrial wind.

To Lisa: I do not want to take away from your lovely photo. But many in Wilton are not aware of how this scene will look next 4th of July if the project is approved. For or against, folks should know.
