I received a phone call from a good friend that the Sandhill Cranes were in New Sharon on Wednesday, May 1. They were in a cornfield, on the south side of Rt. 2, almost across from the location of the former New Sharon Motel. I was able to photograph them at sunset, and enjoyed talking to several people that stopped their cars to see the Cranes as well.
