Where in Franklin County? A reader has the correct answer

1 min read

Photographer Petr Smetanka, of Stratton, snapped this shot while hiking with his daughter on Oct. 31. Where was this wintry scene captured?

Although Hozhed guessed Bigelow, which is correct, the more exact location came in from Lisa who said “The Horn; western most peak of the Bigelow Range.” Thanks to Petr for the awesome photo and to our readers for playing along.

  1. Wait, I know where and what this mound is. It’s in Washington D.C.,and it’s our national debt. As you can see, it is a veritable mountain of unpaid bills that our leaders in Washington have been piling up these past many years. The snow is really interest on the debt, that keeps getting higher and higher until one cant even see the summit. Am I close?
