Wilton resident Valerianne Hinkley, 9 catches a 20-inch, 3 1/2 pound Smallmouth Bass in Wilson Stream in front of the Wilton Public Library on Sunday, Aug. 7. Last week she also caught a 14-inch Smallmouth Bass in Wilson Stream by the Dam.
Good for Valerianne!!!! Surprised someone didn’t try to steal it from her, being Wltion and all….

My little fishing girl asks almost every day to go fishing – its nice. She has been lucky in her catches and all she uses for bait is worms! The gentlemen fishing by the boat landing get to see her “big” catches as her and Bri always stop by to show them and tell them the story of how it happened. Val has been trying for a month to catch the big one that took her line and broke it :) Proud of you!
