Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Farmington Elks Lodge #2430 will be closed this afternoon.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The RSU 78 School Board meeting scheduled for tonight is canceled. The next meeting is Feb 10th.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: All branches of Franklin-Somerset Federal Credit Union are closed today and will reopen normal hours on Wednesday.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Wilton Town Office and the Wilton Transfer Station will be closed all day.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Franklin County Government Offices closed today.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: With a severe winter storm bearing down on Maine, Governor Paul R. LePage has declared a State of Emergency and announced that all State offices will be closed today. The storm is expected to bring Winter Storm and Blizzard conditions to all of Maine, as well as coastal flooding to southwest Maine. “The amount of snow and the high winds, along with blowing and drifting snow, makes this storm dangerous for many Mainers,” LePage said in a press release Tuesday morning. “We want everyone to stay off the roads and stay safe.”

Tuesday, Jan. 27: RSU 9 (Chesterville, Farmington, Industry, New Sharon, New Vineyard, Starks, Temple, Vienna, Wilton, Weld) has cancelled school.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: MSAD 58 (Avon, Kingfield, Phillips, Strong) has cancelled school.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Rangeley Lakes Regional School closed.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: RSU 73 (Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls) closed.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Farmington Public Library will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27 due to the storm.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Farmington District Court will be closed all day.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Franklin County Government Offices and Franklin County Superior Court closed.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: Calzolaio Pasta Company’s 6th Anniversary party scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 5-7 is now re-scheduled for next Tuesday, Feb 3 from 5-7 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Farmington Town Office will be closed on Tuesday. The Farmington selectmen’s meeting originally set for Jan. 27 has been postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The RSU9 Board of Directors meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. has been cancelled.
Tuesday, Jan. 27: Town of Phillips: Board of Selectmen meeting postponed to Thursday, January 29 @ 6 PM. The Phillips Town Office will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Town of Chesterville will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 27, due to the snowstorm.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: All Franklin Savings Bank’s locations will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 27 due to inclement weather. All branches will reopen Wednesday morning.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: All Bangor Savings Bank branches will be closed tomorrow. They will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The University Credit Union will not be open tomorrow for business due to the inclement weather.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Town of Jay will not have curbside collection of trash or recyclables on Jan. 27 due to the anticipated storm. Residents should hold their material until next week or drop them off at the Transfer Station.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The Franklin County Commissioners “Informational Gathering” scheduled for Jan. 27 to discuss current and potential TIF projects in the Unorganized Territory has been postponed. The meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sugarloaf Inn.

Tuesday, Jan. 27: The scheduled meeting of the Farmington Elks Lodge #2430 for Jan. 27 is cancelled.

Wednesday, Jan. 28: Trinity United Methodist Church on Farmington Falls Road Free Loaves & Fish Lunch.

  1. All State offices are closed today as well even though that info is not showing on the WCSH online list of closings. It does show on the maine.gov website.

  2. No mail today Nell. If you want my old Rite Aid flyers, they’re in my recycle bin, but you’ll have to come for them.

  3. Any cancellations for Wednesday yet? Some schools are already canceling. It would be nice to know early.
