Charles E. Pinkham (1942-2010)

BOSQUE FARMS, N.M. – Charles E. Pinkham, 68, of Bosque Farms, N.M. lost his courageous battle with cancer on Nov. 24, 2010 with his loving wife, Charlotte and daughter Cheryl and her husband Rob at his side.

He is survived by his bride Charlotte Nadeau Pinkham of Manchester, Maine; mother Nellie Bachelder Pinkham of Farmington, Maine; brother Phillip Pinkham and wife Marcy of Avon, Maine; sister Muriel Lisherness and husband Paul of Strong, Maine; sister Evelyn Crosson and husband John of Jay, Maine; step-son Blyn Nadeau and wife Andrea of Maine; daughters Lynne Pare of San Benito, Texas; Cheryl King and husband Rob of Spokane, Washington; Carol Mae and boyfriend Ken Jackson of Brownsville, Texas; son Charles (Rusty) Pinkham of Ft.Worth, Texas; 4 grandchildren Sarah Heather Cohn of New Hampshire, Crissy Wolverton and husband Drew of Spokane, Washington; T.J. Smith of Spokane, Washington; Loel Smith of Terre Haute, Indiana; great-grandchildren Makayla, Carson, Madelyn and Sarah’s two children.

Charles was predeceased by his father Charles Phillip Pinkham, brother Freddie Pinkham; sister Susie Pinkham; grandchildren Brian, Rebecca Mae, and a great-granddaughter Taylor Grace.

Charlie born on July 8, 1942 in Strong, Maine, to Charles and Nellie Pinkham. He attended schools in Strong and Gardiner, Maine. He moved to Alaska in 1969 to work on the pipeline. He also lived in Oregon, Washington, and settled in New Mexico where he spent the last 20 years. He loved animals and traveling for pleasure. He was a kind and generous man. He always had a smile on his face, especially after marrying the love of his life Charlotte, on Oct. 14, 2009. Even though they only had a short time together they made each other very happy. He retired as a teamster in 1991.

Charlie will be missed by a lot of family and friends.

Services with be held at Riverside Funeral Home 418 W. Reinken Ave. Belen, N.M. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.
