Dolores C. Jerry (1932 – 2011)

FARMINGTON – Dolores C. Jerry, 78, of North Jay, died early Sunday morning, July 3, 2011 at SRNCC.

She was born July 15, 1932 in Jay and was raised by her grandmother Inez Brewer. She received her education in Weld, Wilton and Jay schools and on July 1, 1950, married William N. “Bill” Jerry in Jay.

She was employed at Norwock Shoe and for many years worked with her husband in their business, Bill Jerry’s Automotive, as a bookkeeper.
She was a horse lover and owned many throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William “Bill” Jerry of N.Jay; one son, William P. Jerry and his wife, Judy of Ct.,; a granddaughter, Jennifer Macchi of CT. and two great-grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no services. Following cremation, burial will be at the Birchland Cemetery, Rt. 17, N. Jay. Remembrance gifts may be given in her memory to the Franklin County Animal Shelter at 550 Industry Rd. Farmington, Me. 04938. Condolences and tributes may be shared with her family at www.wilesrc.com. Arrangements are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton.
