George Beloff (1928-2009)

FORT MEADE, FL – Mr. George Beloff, age 81, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2009.

Born Jan. 16, 1928 in Greenville, PA, Mr. Beloff was the son of the late George and Mary Beloff. Before moving to Fort Meade 20 years ago, Mr. Beloff worked as a physical therapy assistant for Victoria Hospital in Miami, FL. George was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 23 in Fort Meade.

Mr. Beloff is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 55 years, Madeline Beloff of Fort Meade, two daughters; Merrie Terry and husband Stephen of Mesquite, TX, Lorelei Beloff of Miami, and his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Nancy Johnson also of Mesquite, TX. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway in Fort Meade where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.   1. Madeline Miller Beloff attended Farmington H.S. class of 1951.

    George and I attended Farmington Alumni every year and visited our many friends in Farmington. We spent July thru october at our cottage in Lake Megantic QC.
    Also attended Baptist church in Farmington Falls.
    My parends Ed and Georgia Miller owned a home in Farmington Falls for many years.
