WILTON – Kaaren L. Wadsworth, 56, died unexpectedly on May 29 at her residence in Wilton.

Kaaren was born October 11, 1953, in Long Island, New York to Arthur and Mildred (Woodrum) Graham. Kaaren was educated in Queens, New York and later attended beautician school. She moved to Maine in 1986 where she lived her life to the fullest. Kaaren was a member of the Frank L. Mitchell V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 3335 in Jay.

She really enjoyed sitting at her picnic table while watching her grandchildren play. Her life was cut too short, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her smile and methods of madness brought so much joy to her family. She devoted so much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family, mostly her children, who she took pride in the most. She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the importance behind strength. “Anyone can give up it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.”

We will miss her so much. Kaaren is survived by her loving children Kelsey and Danielle Ayala, Andrea Hoffman, Nicole Hoffman, Jessica Melchoirre, and Tracy Brady; eleven grandchildren including Alexandra who will greatly miss her Mimi, her brother Mickey Graham and mother Mildred Graham. She was preceded in death by her father Art Graham, and grandparents Grumpy and Betty Graham.

Funeral services will be 4 P.M Wednesday, June 1st at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visiting hours will be from 3 – 4 prior to the service. Members of the V.F.W. Auxiliary will meet at the funeral home at 3:15 P.M. Messages of condolence may be sent to: www.finleyfuneralhome.com

  1. Kaaren will be missed. I just listened to all my messages from her and they were cute. I will miss her and our talks. She was a good person and I am really sad she had to leave this world before her time.
