Kendall Arvard “Harv” Pillsbury, 69, of Strong died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at Franklin Memorial Hospital with family and friends by his side.

Kendall was born on May 18, 1940 to Paul and Charlotte (Lamb) Pillsbury in Dallas Plantation. He was a logger for many years and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed playing cards and he was always eager to listen to hunting and fishing tales of friends and family. Kendall will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Stacy and husband Matt Lane, his son Jeffrey and wife Rebecca Pillsbury, and his daughter Paula and husband James Tyler all of Strong; his nine grandchildren, Rick and wife Mikki Rice, Tiffany Tyler Mitchell and husband Chad, Heather Rice, Natasha Tyler and fiancé Ryan Madore, McKenzie and Cameron Tyler, Kenyon, Kaden, and Killian Pillsbury; and 2 great-grandsons Gage and Micah Rice. He is also survived by his sisters, Rebecca Ellis, Marilyn Howard, Marie Campbell, and Lucretia Dudley; many nieces and nephews; and his special boys Deano, Daniel, Derrick, and Donald Durrell. Many thanks to his special friends: Barbara Kler, Keith and Darcy Arsenault, David “Crash” Ladd, Bert Howard, and Alice Ryder, the mother of his children.

Kendall was predeceased by his parents, brothers Oscar and Arlo, and sisters Rowena Presby and Lillian Berry.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Nazarene Church in Strong. Arrangements under the direction of Adams~McFarlane Funeral & Cremation Services, 108 Court St., Farmington. Those wishing may send online condolences to the family at www.adamsmcfarlane.com.
