STARKS – Sarah Thayer, 44, of Starks, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2022. Sarah Thayer was born March 11, 1978, to Cynthia Robicheau and Albert Henry Ruprecht Jr. in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

In 2008, Sarah met Timothy Thayer, which led to as of now 12 years of marriage. Sarah loved being outdoors, going camping at our family’s favorite campground Cathedral Pines, she loved hunting and fishing with family and friends and deep-sea fishing on the cape of Massachusetts with family.

Sarah Thayer is survived by her husband, Timothy Thayer, her twin daughters, Kya and Mya Ruprecht, her two stepchildren, Olivia Thayer and Colby Thayer her father, Albert Ruprecht Jr and her mother, Cynthia Robicheau, her 4 pups Meatball, Spaghetti, Axel, Moose along with many more fur babies.

The Celebration of Life will be held at The Masonic Hall in New Sharon on December 17th at 1 p.m. Condolences and tributes may be with shared with her family in her Book of Memories at www.wilesrc.com.

  1. I am sorry to learn of Sarah’s passing. She touched so many lives. To know her was to admire, respect and love her. When my brother, Don Nemeth, passed, Sarah cared for his beloved Rottweiler, Lazarus, for the rest of his life. Laz didn’t like many people, but he loved Sarah. She was generous, kind and loving to everyone she encountered (people and fur babies).

    I offer my deepest sympathy to her family. I pray for their peace and comfort during this tragic time.

My heart is heavy upon learning the passing of Sarah……A lover of dogs and fantastic groomer she was my groomer at the House of Stillwater for my dog Wiggles…..She really was that special lady that made you smile when you returned to pick up your dog and saw the excellent service she gave…..Wiggles and I will always love her kindness. Sending thoughts and prayers to the families and all her customers who have lost their dog groomer

  3. My DEAR Sarah, I am so sad to learn of your passing. You were so kind and caring to Maddie who loved you dearly as I do. You were so good to me during my recovery from knee surgeries to take Maddie for a month while I recovered. you took wonderful care of Maddie. I will miss that wonderful little laugh you had. You took care of everything. Rest in peace my friend. Maddie and I will miss you. Maddie will miss seeing her buddy Dolee.

  4. I am so sorry to learn just now about the passing of Sarah. She was always so pleasant and caring for my Maltipoo Oxy! Rest in peace. I will miss seeing her!

  5. So very sorry to hear of Sara’s passing. I came to know Sarah with my cat, Tilly. She
    was very gentle and compassionate as she groomed Tilly. My deepest condolences to Sara’s family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
