NORRIDGEWOCK – Graveside services will be held for Gilbert Taylor and his wife, Mary Taylor who passed away December 3, 2021 and February 11, 2022. Services will be held at the Strong Village Cemetery in Strong, Maine on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The Strong Methodist Church is assisting the family to honor their lives. Friends and family celebrating Gil and Mary are invited to gather at the Strong Methodist Parish House on Main Street following the graveside service.

They were wonderful schoolmates, and greatly respected people.
Mrs Taylor was my 2nd grade teacher. I never forgot her, and thought of her over the years. She was so good to me and when I was in the hospital she came every other night to visit me, and of course homework assignments.. Even Being in the 2nd grade she impacted my life and I stopped at her home in norrigewock to see her a couple yrs ago and she was all smiles. I hadn’t seen her in years and she looked the same to me..she was beautiful, and an awesome teacher…
Rip Mrs Taylor, I will always have a big spot in my heart for you…
