  1. Saved my life in the early 60’s. Dr.Duffy was a great man who gave equal care to all who needed his services

  2. Our family lived next door to the Duffy’s and Duff was our family doctor. Duff practiced medicine out of a tiny office in his home on Main Street. He was an old-fashioned family doctor who never turned a patient away for not being able to pay. It was not unusual for Mary to find baskets of home-grown vegetables left on the porch by patients who were not able to pay him money but wanted to pay him something. She would poke her head out the door and sigh, “More apples, what am I going to do with them all…” He moved to Florida where instead of retiring and taking it easy, he practiced medicine well into his 80’s at a clinic for migrant farm workers. This man lived an unselfish life of service to humanity his entire life and deserves our utmost honor and respect.

  3. Hi Kathy. I am so terribly sorry to hear about Duff. He was a wonderful person. My prayers are for you and your family. Please email me sometime. I would love to hear from you. Hilda
