The Town of Strong is losing one of the best fire chiefs, one of the best residents ever.
Scott Dyar has accepted a new job in Texas and will be leaving on Monday. He says he is coming back someday and one can only hope that he will. As a Selectman for the Town, I will miss Scott’s input not only on the fire department but on other topics as well.
Scott, we can only say thank you, good luck and God speed.

We will miss both of you so much. You have been such wonderful friends and neighbors! We will all think of your commitment to the town and to your family and friends often.
We are so happy for the opportunity for you, but you will be missed dearly!!! The girls will miss you and I’m sure Oma and Grampa will miss threatening them with Grampa Dyar :) Patty, you have been like a second mother to me, and though I don’t tell you, I love you and thanks for everything!
We will miss you both so much! Thank you for always being there when we needed you and being such a great friend! Have fun in Texas and enjoy every moment of it! Come back soon to visit us!
