The voters in Senate District 18 have the opportunity to continue having a strong advocate in Augusta. As our State Representative, Tom Saviello has supported his constituents. I am certain, as a member of the Maine Senate, Tom will continue this support. Tom has taken the time to get to know the people that live and work in his district and understand their needs. I suspect that very few, if any, of Tom’s counterparts in Augusta have taken the time and energy to develop as good of a relationship with their constituents. If one takes the time to analyze his voting record, they would see, that rather than caving in to lobbyists, political pressure and special interest groups, Tom has voted the way the people of his district wanted him to.
The citizens Senate District 18 need to be represented by someone that is not afraid to fight for the needs of the district, rather than being brushed aside by the political machines in Augusta and Southern Maine. I feel strongly that Tom Saviello is the person that can best represent us. Please take the time to cast your ballot Tom this November.
