To apply, go to www.mefishwildlife.com and select “Any Deer Permit” on the top of the home page.

The deadline for paper applications has past.

The permit allocation is: 18,378 for residents; 6,599 for landowners; 1,181 for non-residents; and 232 for Superpack holders. (Superpack and landowners must meet certain requirements. See the Department’s website for more information.)

Deer hunting season (firearms) begins with Youth Deer Hunting Day on Oct. 22. Youth may take a buck statewide or an antlerless deer only in the wildlife management districts where any-deer permits will be issued this fall.
