Men’s Rugby: UMF 55, Bowdoin 5

1 min read

BRUNSWICK – On Saturday the UMF men’s rugby team traveled to Brunswick and beat Bowdoin College, 55-5, in a match that featured plenty of wide open, running rugby. The Bowdoin team, in a rebuilding year and starting many freshmen, played hard and tackled well.

The win moves UMF to 2-0 on the season after their 39-0 blanking of Bates College the weekend before.

On Saturday, Oct. 3, the UMF men are home against Colby College. Kickoff for the Prescott Field match will be at 1 p.m.
