  1. It’s great to see the girls’ teams get a little attention in the media. Of course, I’m prejudiced, my granddaughter wears #5 for Maranacook. I was at the game and thought the teams were well matched. The winning goal came from a “penalty shot.” Sorry if that’s the wrong term, 50 years of Bruins hockey…

    The last time these girls met, it was summer league play on a UMF field and Mt. Blue outplayed the Maranacook team, not so this time.
