Hilary started The Cultivated Thread in early 2020 with a focus on handwoven wearables and home goods. As the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold, Hilary quickly realized that she would not be able to sell her artisan handwoven goods at local fairs, festivals and farmer’s markets during the summer as planned.
