Join us June 23rd at 1:00 pm for How She Built That featuring Hilary Crowell of The Cultivated Thread, a small-batch weaving studio in Mid Coast Maine. Hilary started The Cultivated Thread in early 2020 with a focus on handwoven wearables and home goods. As the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold, Hilary quickly realized that she would not be able to sell her artisan handwoven goods at local fairs, festivals and farmer’s markets during the summer as planned. She worked closely with the WBC to make the jump from in-person selling to e-commerce, initially focusing on developing a strong website
