Living Well with Chronic Pain
This class is designed for people who have a diagnosis of chronic pain, offering strategies for dealing with their symptoms. Topics include: techniques to deal with frustration, fatigue, isolation, and poor sleep, appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, appropriate use of medications, communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals, nutrition, pacing activity and rest, and how to evaluate new treatments.

Better Health Now with Diabetes
Better Health with Diabetes is a free mail order toolkit for those who have or are at risk of diabetes and/or their caregivers. Participants must pre-register to receive their toolkit workshop materials and work with a certified leader via telephone or ZOOM at predetermined times either by yourself or in small groups. This process allows the participant all of the educational benefits of the Living Well with Diabetes workshop and equips them with tools to effectively manage their ongoing condition(s), all while maintaining social distancing from their home.

Tours & Special Exhibit at Maine’s Paper & Heritage Museum
Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum will be open for tours and a HUGE garage sale, Saturday June 4, 2022 9am to 3pm. There will be a special museum exhibit of memorabilia from the Livermore Falls High School Class of 1967! Lunch of barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs and dessert from noon to 1 pm. Event is by donation. Maine's Paper & Heritage Museum is a non-profit, volunteer organization. All donations go toward museum repairs and operating costs. Tours available anytime by appointment. United Way’s COLOR ME UNITED 5k Walk/Run
United Way’s COLOR ME UNITED 5k Walk/Run
United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is excited to offer our 6th annual COLOR ME UNITED 5K Run/Walk this year! The event will be August 27th, 2022. The race will start at 9am with a huge color explosion at the Narrow Gauge Movie Theater parking lot, right off Front Street in Farmington. The race will end there as well. This year will be even more COLORFUL and fun, come dressed as cool or funky as you can, with your team or as an individual. July 3rd in the Park
July 3rd in the Park
On Sunday July 3rd, the park will come to life with activities, food and entertainment for all ages, all provided by our area nonprofit organizations. This will be a true family day packed with fun. Festivities begin at 10:00 AM with the Children’s Doll Carriage Parade on Main Street and the Duck Race on Haley Pond, and go out with a bang as the fireworks get underway at dusk. Visitors will enjoy food, live entertainment, games, demonstrations and more - including Rangeley's Great American Dog Parade - all in the splendor of the picturesque lakeside park.
