Easter Coloring Contest
The members of the Farmington Downtown Association will be sponsoring an Easter Coloring contest for children age 10 and under. This traditional coloring contest allows young children to show off their coloring talents that they may have been working on during remote learning times and gives them a chance to win a fun filled Easter basket. Coloring pages may be picked up from participating Downtown businesses starting March 22nd. The completed pages need to be return to Wicked Good Candy at 169 Front Street, Farmington no later than April 3rd at 5:00pm to be entered into the judging for fabulous

Join us for the 10th annual One in Five 5K either virtual or in person on Sunday, April 25th at FirstPark (46 FirstPark Dr) in Oakland at 9 am! Inspired by the current Maine statistic of an estimated ONE in FIVE people in Maine have been affected by sexual violence (Muskie School of Public Policy, Maine Crime Victimizations Rates, 2011), the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center is hosting this race. Late entries will be allowed in the parade , but will not be judged. Judging ends at 9:45 AM. Parade starts at 10:00 AM at the lawn of Rangeley Inn and ending at Rangeley Town Park. Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad
Trains will depart Sanders station on the hour from 11 AM through 3 PM. You are free to depart on one train and return on a later train should you wish to make use of our picnic grove or simply spend more time exploring the roundhouse and other nearby buildings preserved from the original railroad. RIDE THE NARROW GAUGE! The SRRL RR Museum, 128 Bridge St in Phillips, will operate on Sat Sept 25 and Sun Sept 26. Trains will depart Bridge St at 11AM, 12PM, 1PM, 2PM, and 3PM. The trees are changing, enjoy the scenic splendor along the banks of the Sandy River! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy! Walk the Flyrod Crosby Trail…. Fare is $6.00 for Adults, $2.00 for Children. Well behaved Dogs on a leash may accompany their humans!

Cornhole Tournament – TPAC Dance Team

Model Train Display by Great Falls Model RR Club, Museum Tours and Yard Sale at Maine’s Paper & Heritage Museum!

They will have model trains on display. We will also have a special exhibit featuring a model train crafted by Ralph Smith of Jay, generously donated to the museum. In addition to learning more about trains, come tour the museum and check out our Yard Sale! Event is free, but donations are appreciated as we raise funds to repair the museum roof and continue operations!
